To start tracking sponsored content, follow these simple steps:
1. Create the Sponsored Content Tracker Ad
First, navigate to the advertiser’s profile for whom you want to set up tracking. Then:
- Click on + Advertisement and choose the Sponsored Content Tracker ad format.
- Give your tracker a unique name and enter the URL of the post you’re tracking in the Post URL field.
2. Place the Sponsored Content Tracker Ad on the Post
Once you’ve created the ad, you’ll need the ad code to get it tracking on the post:
- On the ad page, look for the Get Ad Code button in the top-right corner.
- Click on it to open a module, then copy the JavaScript code snippet.
With the code in hand, go to the post you’re tracking. Place the snippet in the body of the post or article, then make sure to update the post. Your analytics should start tracking the sponsored content right away.
