Sometimes there are media files that an advertiser will use repeatedly in advertising campaigns, such as their logo. By adding these media files to an advertiser’s media gallery, it becomes easier and faster to locate the media you need to create advertisements.

Note that if you used the Quick Start method to create an advertiser, there may already be images in your Media Gallery. Broadstreet will have pulled recent images from the business selected when creating the advertiser and those images will appear automatically in the advertiser media gallery.

The directions below walk you through how to add, edit and remove images from the advertiser media gallery.

Locate an Advertiser Media Gallery

Navigate to the Advertisers option in the left side menu.

This opens the Advertisers page in Broadstreet. Here you can see a list of all existing advertisers in the program. Locate the advertiser you need to delete and click on the advertiser name.

The page for the individual advertiser opens. In the top menu, select Media Gallery

Add Media

Upload an Image to Gallery

In the top right of an advertiser’s media gallery, there is an option to Upload an Image to Gallery. This is when there are individual items that need to be added to the media gallery.

In the window that opens, there are multiple places you can select an image from. You can upload a local file from your computer, select an image already in that advertiser’s media gallery, or find an image from one of the many other online sources. The entire left menu option has all the available image sources you can pull from to add to your gallery.

Selecting an image opens a preview page where you can crop, rotate, edit and customize the image. When you’re happy with your image, select Add.

Upload Multiple Images to Gallery

In the top right of an advertiser’s media gallery, there is an option to Upload an Image to Gallery. This is when there are several items that need to be added to the media gallery at once from the same source.

The window to select pictures will be the same as for individual images, however, you have the option to select several images. Every image you click, will be added to the list of files you are going to add to your media gallery.

To add the files to your media gallery, simply click Done in the bottom right. If you want to make sure you’ve selected the correct files, click Show files in the bottom left corner. You’ll see a list view of all the items already selected. You can remove items by clicking the trash can icon to the right of the image.

Once you’re done reviewing the files, click Add in the bottom right to include them in your media gallery.

Bulk File Upload

If there are a large number of files that you want to upload from your local device, such as zip files or media, it may be simpler to use the Bulk File Upload option.

On an advertiser’s main page, there is an option in the top menu to + Bulk File Upload

Once you click the option to bulk upload, a new section populates below the advertiser name. You can drag and drop any files you want to upload into the upload field. You also have the option to click in the drop field and then upload files from your local devices from the file explorer.

If you have a URL that you would like to be applied to the uploaded files, paste it into the Destination URL field.

Edit Media Gallery Image

In the top right corner of every item in the media gallery, there is a pencil icon. Click the pencil icon to edit the gallery image and details about it.

There are two main things you can edit for an item in the media gallery:

Edit Image

Click the image thumbnail in order to select a new file.

Caption

The caption for a media item is optional. The information you type in the caption area will autofill as text on advertisement when there is a field mapped for a caption. This will depend entirely on the chosen ad format.

Once you have finished updating your media gallery item, click Update Media Gallery to save your changes.

Delete an Image from Gallery

In the top right corner of every item in the media gallery, there is a trash can icon. Click the icon in order to delete the item and remove it from the advertiser media gallery.
