Broadstreet allows publishers to create administrators for advertiser accounts. Administrators will have the ability to view all of the advertisements, campaigns and reports for the advertiser account. Depending on the settings you give advertiser administrators, they may also be able to create advertisements and campaigns for publisher approval.

The directions below walk you through how to add, edit and remove administrators from an advertiser account.

Locate an Advertiser Account

Navigate to the Advertisers option in the left side menu.

This opens the Advertisers page in Broadstreet. Here you can see a list of all existing advertisers in the program. Locate the advertiser you need and click on the advertiser name.

The page for the individual advertiser opens. To view or change administrators, click the 3 dots in the top right of the screen.

To view or change administrators, click Edit Advertiser in the top right.

Add an Advertiser Administrator

Once you’re on the advertiser edit page, you can easily add a new administrator to the account. Locate the section titled Access.

Click New Administrator in the top right of the section.

Note that you will have to click to create a new advertiser admin two times in order to see all of the fields and finish creating the new admin.

There are several fields to enter information for when creating a new administrator.

Email

Enter the email of the person who is being added as an administrator. This email will be used to create a login account and for all communication between the Broadstreet software and the user. If the administrator is set up to receive automatic reports, the reports will go to this email.

Allow Advertisement Creation?

Enable this option if you want this administrator to not only view advertisements but also be able to create them in Broadstreet. Note that any advertisement created by an advertiser will be ready to use as soon as it’s made.

Allow Campaign Creation?

Enable this option if you want this administrator to not only view campaigns but also be able to create them in Broadstreet. All campaigns require publisher approval before going live; advertisements created by advertiser administrators are automatically created as Paused. Only a network admin, or publisher account, has the ability to activate a campaign.

Welcome Message?

Select this option if you want the user to receive a welcome message from Broadstreet with their username, login link, and password.

When you have filled out the applicable fields, click Create Advertiser Admin

Broadstreet will now check to see if the new admin already exists in another network. The page will refresh with additional fields. Make sure to edit and update the new fields as needed.

Name

Enter the user name for the new admin.

Password

Enter the password that you would like the new admin to use to login. You can also click Random Password underneath the field to have a password generated. If you select for a welcome message to be sent, the password information will be included in that email.

Double check the previous fields and make sure the information is correct. Once you have finished, click Create Advertiser Admin again.

If you clicked for the new admin to be sent login credentials, they will receive their welcome email shortly.

Update an Advertiser Administrator

Once you’re on the advertiser edit page, you can easily edit an advertiser administrator account. Locate the section titled Access, you’ll see a list of all of the advertiser administrators.

To the right of the administrator select . Click the icon to open up the administrator information.

This opens the Edit Administrator screen. Change the administrator information as necessary.

Note that administrator passwords can only be reset by the individual users. Users can select that they have forgotten their password at login to recover their account or contact Broadstreet support. For more information on passwords, see the documentation here

Once you have finished updating your administrator information, the only thing left is to save the changes. Click Update Advertiser Admin in order to save the changes you made to the user.

Once you’re on the advertiser edit page, you can easily remove an advertiser administrator account. Locate the section titled Access, you’ll see a list of all of the advertiser administrators.

To the right of the administrator you want to delete, click . Click the icon to remove the administrator.
