Broadstreet offers the option to archive unused zones. Archiving a zone means that ads will not be able to run in the specified zone. In order to archive a zone, there cannot be any active campaigns using the zone. All of the information tied to a zone will be saved when archived, so any code that has been added to your website will still work for a zone if it is unarchived at a later time. Note that if a zone was tied to an upcoming or future campaign before being archived, the campaign will still run at the scheduled date.

The process to archive a zone is easy in Broadstreet and is a good option if you do not need a zone to display ads but think you may later want to utilize it again. Archived zones can be viewed at any time and easily changed to active.
