When an advertiser is done with an advertisement or if there was a mistake with an advertisement that means an advertiser would prefer to start over, you have the option to delete an advertisement.
*It is important to note that deleting an advertisement cannot be undone.
All records and reports in Broadstreet on impressions and views are tied to advertisement records. *Deleting an advertisement will delete important analytics, please use caution before doing so. Sometimes it is better to simply pause the campaign an advertisement is running in rather than deleting the advertisement itself. For information on pausing campaigns, see the documentation here.
Another option is to simply archive advertisements to remove them from your main dashboard but keep the ads and their analytics available for later viewing. More information can be found on archiving advertisements here.
Deleting an advertisement is a straightforward process of locating the ad and then removing it from your records.
The directions below walk you through how to delete an advertisement.
Locate and Delete Your Ad
The first thing you need to do is find the advertisement that you want to delete, which means finding the advertiser that owns the ad.
Navigate to the Advertisers option in the left side menu.
This opens the Advertisers page in Broadstreet. Here you can see a list of all your advertisers within your network. Locate the advertiser whose ad you need to delete and click on the advertiser name.
The page for the individual advertiser opens. There’s a section specifically for Advertisements. Click the extended menu next to the advertisement you want to remove.
Click Delete and confirm the advertisement’s deletion.
Remember, deleting an advertisement cannot be undone and will erase any and all records and analytics related to that ad.
